I would really reccomend removing those rabbit pellet crap, its not good for leos at all. Go with paper towels, newspaper,or slate rock.

My 1st gecko setup. This pic was taken at night, hence the low temps.[/QUOTE]
Your setup looks awesome! Which ones the moist hide?

I can't believe I missed this thread. I love setting up enclosures. Here are a few of our leo tanks and our beardie set-up as well.

Wow I really like the looks of those back wall climbing ledge thing. Where do you get that and how $$ approx?

Mine is pretty plain. Just the basics (rock hide and moist hide) with one piece of climbing wood. I need to dress it up a bit more thougH!

Thanks!!!

I made them out of styrofoam (main piece for the back at Wal-Mart in the floral/craft section costs $5 and different shapes/sizes for the ledges are between $3 and $5). Just stick random ledges on at various heights, rough the surface up with a knife to make it look "rockier" and cover it with grout to hold it all together. I use plain grout (cheaper for a HUGE tub of it) and once it's dried I paint it with craft paint and then seal it with a sealant meant for children's toys (so it's non-toxic and washable).

Wow I would have never thought it was made out of stryofoam! Awesome idea. :) I may have to try this project some time on a rainy day. :main_thumbsup:
