Mini Mealworm question...

I started out using mini mealworms with my new baby, who was about 2.5-3" long when I got him/her.

Well - he eats about 15-16 mini mealworms a night. As soon as I put them in his feeder they're gone within 30 min.

I bought some small mealworms to use up next and then I'll just order some regular mealworms from sunshine mealworms.

For now though, I have 80 mini mealworms left. Should I just always keep his/her bowl full of mealworms? Like 10-15 at all times?

Thanks!!

lizard-king - not sure about that? Maybe someone else can answer?

Another question for everyone else - how many mealworms do you try to keep in the dish at all times? Do you keep count to make sure they are eating? or do you just check the dish a couple times a day and add more if they're out?

I was ordering 1/2 mini's, 1/2 small - 1000 each per order. Last time I ordered the 5000 mini's only to find my leos hated just the mini's!!!! I just reordered getting 5000 small - see if they like this better.

I just fill all my bowls like half way full. In 2 days they are usually almost empty so I refill them. You can tell when someone is not eating because the bowl will look like it wasnt touched

youc an feed mini to any age but its a waste of money, they jsut eat mroe and they cost the same.

I put about 1 tablespoon of vionate then 2 thin carrot slices then 2 tablesppons of mealies then cali and roate reptivite or mineral O on top. Then I check them daily to add another carrot slice or 2 adn refill the dish with the above when they are about 10 mealies left (2 - 3 days depending on size of mealies and leos)
