I am having some trouble decided a new system to house all of my geckos in. I have been doing some research on the internet on this and it seems like everybody is housing their adults in 15-16 quart tubs. However, after doing some research I have come to the conclusion that the 12 quart and the 15 quart are practically the same size.
12 quart: 16 7/8" x 11 1/2" x 5 7/8"
15 quart: 17 x 11.1 x 6.5 inches
The only major difference in size between the two are the height. The height isn't going to be much help in a rack system IMO. The length and the width make up the difference of each other since the length is 1/8" bigger than the 12 qt but the 12 qt width is .4" bigger than the 15 qt.
So my questions are: What does everyone think the minimal size for a single adult gecko tub should be, and are 12 quarts to small to house an adult gecko in, and if they are, wouldn't 15-16 qt's be to small also?
Clear as mud? Good...
Thanks!
