So about two weeks ago the egg on the right "gooed" out and since it's attached to the other egg I couldn't remove it... The "goo" began growing white mold on it last week and it made me nervous, but I decided not to muck with it as not to damage the other egg...

As you can see a baby hatched out of it!

I went to check if the clutch mate hatched this morning and found another Snow Bell in the container! To my surprise it wasn't from the attached egg...

All of these eggs are from the same female...

The miracle baby is half the size of the one that hatched today (MB hatched yesterday) which can be seen in these pics...

MB is on the left and today's is on the right...

Pretty interesting that the baby survived and continued to develop although it's egg had opened up... I'm even more shocked because it's out like 12-14 days early, but in good health and not underdeveloped (aside from it's size)... I'm very grateful for that!

Thanks guys!

Josh, with yesterday's and today's babies, we've gotten 1.3 (temp sexed) Snow Bells from your female! You should be happy with that and there's still three eggs cooking with at least another clutch due to be laid... It definitely makes up for the other female never going...

wow is it just me or do all of their patterns look exactly the same or is that a trait that the specific morph has?

im so happy for you.

LOL! Neither did I! I probably would've thrown it out if it hadn't been stuck to the other egg...

Mike,

It would have been too fortunate for us if she would have started laying in the Spring, you know that! Our luck isn't THAT good. :)

Very, very nice! I love how they all have the same pattern. I guess the moral of the story is NOT to throw out any eggs unless they shrivel up like raisins.

I dunno, though- I was once watching a clutch of beardie eggs for someone while they were on vacation for a few days and I thought one was hatching... I guess technically it was... but it was a gigantic and very disgusting bug, not a baby beardie. *shudder*
