MLB Playoffs Thread!

First of all GO CUBS! I really thought it'd come down to today to decide the NL Central since Milwaukee is usually really good at home, but thanks to some errors and bad calls (good for Cubs fans) they hardly put up a fight.

In the AL I see Boston sweeping LA and a tight series between NY and Cleveland with Cleveland taking it in game 5 at home. I'd rather have LA take Boston, but I really don't see that happening...

As far as the NL, I'd like to see Phili take the East, San Diego in the West and Colorado with the wild card. I really don't want the Cubs to face Arizona... Since we don't know the match ups yet I'll just say... GO CUBS! :main_laugh:

I want the WS to be Cleveland vs. Chicago... Cubs win it at home!

Well Philly took the NL East and I hadn't realized Arizona clinched on Friday so all that's left is the NL wild card... San Diego is a great team, but I'd rather have Colorado get it... I'm watching the game right now and it looks like Colorado will beat Arizona forcing a tiebreaker against San Diego on Monday... Hmmm...

The Cubs will be playing Arizona, which I am fine with. I did not want to face SD because of Peavy and Hill. Those two would be pitching 3-4 of the 5 games. The Phillies kinda lucked out with this playoff between Col and SD. Whoever wins that game is going to have their ace on the bench until game 3, most likely.

Unless the Yankees can explode with runs again, I feel the Angels will take the series. They are an incredible team that flew way under the radar all year. Boston better watch out. They have not been playing like the best team in baseball (like their record says) and the Indians will give them a very tough series.

I'm going with the Angels Vs. Red Sox and the Cubs Vs. Phillies.

Apparently Vegas has the Cubs as favorites to win it? I dunno, that's what someone told me. I sure hope so.

I'll agree with you on Cubs & Indians in the world series except for the outcome!! I grew up in Cleveland and would love to see the Indians win!! :main_yes: Heck, I'd even love to see them play in the world series!

Being from outside Boston I can only think one way...ALL THE WAY!!!! Sorry, I'm not allowed to have any other thoughts than Red Sox. We're raised that way here ;p

Even though I'm from Chicago, I don't see the Cubs going to the World Series much less winning it. I believe an AL team will win it all this year. The Rockies have been impressive lately so I wouldn't count them out of the first round.

BOOO!!! I'm a huge Cubbies fan so I'm very biased, but if they don't make it passed the first round I'll be rooting for Colorado...

I'm gonna refresh this thread. WOW the Rocks have been on fire. I'm hoping they win it all, just because of what it took to get there. I'm thinking they'll face Boston. I just hope the Rocks can get fired up again after having 8 days off.

Looking to me like Rockies are gonna face the Indians. It only seems to make sense that the Rockies are gonna hit a wall and end this streak... but it just isn't happening. I think they Rocks are gonna want it more and see them taking it. I'd love to see them win it...and then trade Tulowitski to the Cubs...
