There are a lot of variables in ball prices. The quality of the snake, health, sex, genetics, proven VS unproven, weight, age, the reputation of the breeder, local market values, etc. There are $200 mojaves and there are $1000+ mojaves. It's not cut and dry.

What any particular snake is worth is completely up to the buyer. The seller may set the price he or she wants for it, but the decision to or not to pay the price is always the buyers.
As I said earlier, If the snake is worth $300 to you, buy it. If not, negotiate.

It'll be my first bp.... Sorry I was just wondering... I was going in to by just a normal, and saw him and thought the pattern was very nice. He was 400, but I'm friends with the owner and he dropped it to 300. I know the husbandry but not really morphs and prices. I'm just trying to learn.

It's an adult from what I can tell from the pic. I'd say $200-300 is a decent price. If you're just looking for a pet ball buying a baby might be the better choice, I've seen better looking mojaves at better prices.

Just my 2 cents. If its just for a pet then go for it. If your wanting to breed in the future I would look for one from a breeder. Chances are you will get a better quality animal at a better price. And you know its history.
