mom going to hospital

before thanksgiving my mom found out that she was highly anemic and has a slow leak in her stomach, she has been getting weaker and when i saw her on her birthday she was slightly depressed and talk about her motality,shes 85 and now shes waiting for a phone call from the hospital saying they have a bed for and im worried sick,my stress level is through the roof and im worried sick:main_no: :main_thumbsdown: :main_huh:

hopefully she will be going into the hospital by tonight,she dosent even have the strength to fix a meal

shes in the hospital now and they have given her two blood transfusions so far ,she will be there till at least monday

Francine-I am very sorry to read that your mom is not well

My mother is also 85 and while she has been blessed with fantastic physical health-she is experiencing a lot of forgetfulness and confusion in the past year and it is getting worse

It is very sad and frustrating to see my very independent mother going through these changes
She lives in a retirement home so she is not alone but has her own apartment

Your Mom will be in my thoughts and prayers to get better and come home soon

thanks everyone for all your thoughts and prayers, shes doing much better and hopefully will be coming home tomorrow if the doctor says ok.
