Mom to a Teen!

My daughter is turning 13 tomorrow! I still can't believe I'm old enough to have a teenager. Where did the time go? One more year and she'll be starting high school!

I know just what you mean Kristi! Seems like my daughter just turned 13 and is now 17 1/2! My son however is 13 and omg has a gf! I cannotpicture it *sigh* soon there will be an empty nest and not sureI'm mentally prepared for that lol

My mom looked at my sister a few years ago. She sighed and said "why can't you just stay young forever?"

To which my sister replied: "Do you want me to die, mom!? Because that's the only way I'll be 11 forever. I'd have to die. And I think you want me alive."

You think your old? My oldest turns 20 on the 22nd and my youngest turns 9 on 25 August. My goodness, where does the time go.

My daughter had a nice birthday and her party turned out well yesterday (except 3 girls who RSVP'd didn't show up:main_rolleyes. We had a beach party and it ended up being a great day. If I get a chance later, I'll post a couple pictures.
