More than one gecko?

Hello, I was at the pet store and they had two crested geckos in the same tank. They looked so cute together, cuddling. Is it advisable to just go with one gecko or can a terrarium house multiples?

If you have a large enough enclosure, and are sure that the geckos you're housing are both females, it's very do-able. Some people are worried about the possibility of fighting, which can happen, though I have found it to be rare. I do have extra emergency enclosures in case someone needs to be separated. Currently I have 4 enclosures that each house 2-4 crested or gargoyle geckos (obviously, not mixing cresties and gargs in the same enclosure), all female. There have been occasional nipped tails, especially on the part of the gargs, but nothing serious; the cresties all have their tails (which don't grow back) except for one female who lost hers the one year she was breeding with a male. One pair of gargoyles has been cohabiting for about 8 years, and the other 3 enclosures have geckos who have been together for 4 years.
