A friend on Facebook :computer: posted this picture of a gecko they recently adopted because the original owner couldn't provide proper care. He/she is about a year old. Can anyone identify the morph?
He/she looks like a very sick normal to me. Very pale colors indicate poor care definatly. the way them front arms are bent in definatly has some MBD. For it to be a year and be a he/she is odd. Do you just not now the gender yourself or is it not sexable? if not then its not that old. Personally it looks around a few months. But then poor care can be misleading. Poor little guy. good for your friend for saving him:main_thumbsup: Best of luck. again my votes for a normal.
Here's what I think....the gecko looks like it might be getting ready to shed. . It very well could be pale from improper husbandry and care, or it just could be a lighter color in general.
The front leg does look suspicious to me...but I wouldn't go ahead and give it a label quite yet....it would be nice to see a few more pics of this guy from a couple different angles...may just be the way he's holding it?
Sorry, i'm not one to jump the gun when it comes to discussing medical issues...
They weren't given any information on the gecko other then it's about a year old and they live many states away so I can't check it out myself. This one definitely has an issue with it's front legs. If I can get them I'll post update pics for sure.
