So, I am trying to wrap my head around the morphs, I'm not breeding just want to know what people are talking about!

So, are some names only referring to a eye morph/color while other refer to skin color?

What exactly does Enigma refer too?

The leopard gecko wiki is a good idea. In general, remember that a morph is a color (usually) combination that is distinct from other combinations and it can manifest itself in some or all of the following places: eye color, body color, spotting, pattern on the body.

Im still learning genetics, and have a question....So if the Enigma was created from Mark Bell's geckos? Does that make all enigmas bells? (or does Mark Bell have some Trempers too:p) Or is it b/c an Enigma is a dominant trait that the Bell part doesnt matter?

Let say that the enigma wasn't created it was just a lucky shot as well as all of the albino strain. The first enigma just hatched radomly from one egg under the possesion of Mark Bell. Since we don't know exactly from which pair we can't said that they are all het bell. Nevertheless if they hatched from an albino pair you can still selectivelly breeding to wash out the albino gene and then can proove out that it is no het for albino by breeding the offspring to other bells. It is beleived that the reason why there is so much morphs is because of the early sub-species cross breeding. If you have an opportunity to search on the internet for picture of each sub-species you will find that some of them in the wild will look close to some of the morph now known. Some of them will be like snow looking other sup-species will show a lot of yellow pigmentation like the afghaniscus while other will have less pattern. Here is a nice video on you tube that explain a lot and show some of all the sub-species http://www.youtube.com/user/sasobek11#p/a/u/1/1aA9eYggfEI
