I'm new to this site and looking for either a website or book of just what each morph's characteristic's are . Things like colors , patterns etc . I 'd like to now what it is I'm looking at and what it means when someone lists something like a rainwater , jungle etc . Further down the road I'd be looking to find info on breeding and what can be produced . Also could someone clear up what it means when someone lists having someting like 1.4.1 leopard gecko's . Is it male / female and ? or something else .Thanks

Ps The last gecko i bought at a show the guy wrote sown that it is RS trempor , 100% raptor , 66% raptor last one is smudged and hard to read but i think that is it . what does this mean . Here is her picture.

She is a Reverse Stripe Tremper Albino, and I'm guessing she's 100% heterozygous (carrying the recessive gene) for Aptor and 66% heterozygous for Raptor. She's very nice! :main_thumbsup:

Also, 1.4.1 would mean 1 male, 4 females, 1 baby/unsexed ;)

The way he wrote it down, the parents should have been an Aptor het Raptor and something else het Raptor. 100% het Aptor means that at least 1 parent was an Aptor so this gecko should carry all of the genes for Aptor (aka "Patternless Stripe"). 66% het Raptor means that both parents were 100% het Raptor so this one has a 66% chance of carrying the gene for Ruby eyes.
