My new rescue, named her Stella, has what I think is mouth rot.
I pulled a long scabby puss thing out of her jaw line where teeth should of been.
I got her a few hours ago, and I've been working non-stop to get her stable enough that I can sleep. It's 3:40am. Lol. i've had her since 10pm.
She has a double eye infection as well.
I read online that betadine can be used to treat mouth rot? We know she got MR from being neglected. Lets just say she's skin and bones and hasn't eaten in over 2 months. She's got a lot of fight in her, and enjoys eating the slurry we made for her.
Anyone have any input on treating it?
