Thank you for the kind words. For anyone concerned, Mr. Smiley has a bottle cap with Ca, you can see it in pic # 4. He does have the UVB/UVA light, but it is only on a few hours a day. I guess some geckos don't come out in the day, Mr. Smiley shares his room with Sheba my B & G macaw..they like to look at each other and he hangs out even in the day. I think all animals benefit from a little full spectrum light...unless they are bats.:D I use the red light to see him a few hours at night, and as well it heats the rock slightly..that is atop the hide with the stars..which he likes to hang out on. The tank has a new Zoo-med UTH appropriately sized for this 55 gal tank. I take good care of him..I think it shows.;) {someone questioned me on another forum}

P.S. Mr Smiley is the coolest gecko because he never soils his home. See the reddish brown vase in the back left hand corner...that is his bathroom. His choice... :D

Here is the rest of the room. Just need to hang a couple pictures, and decide what type of shades to put up. I am thinking bamboo would be nice. What do you think?

Very nice! The room looks so good too!

I hope the one slanted tile is glued into place though...
Thanks so much everyone for the compliments! Someone else mentioned that about the slanted tile. I am still playing with the set up. His new repti-humid hide came today & we are expecting one more package. I think I will move that tile down for now and decide if I will keep it this way. If I do, I'll dab some silicone on it. I do have that flat rock that is on top of the hide with the stars smashed against it to hold it, but better safe than sorry..:main_yes:

And now that you've given your gecko a huge house... time to upgrade your bird! Great on how many toys you have, but the cage is only of ok size... you could go huge! King's cages has a giant one that I would have in a heartbeat excepting the bar spacing is too big for a Quaker... (for a Quaker, though, a cage that size is more of an aviary...)

Ah yes..you are correct Alusdra! I am getting this one very soon for her:

I have wanted a new cage for Sheba since I got her. She was rehomed to me. She does get lots of love, attention, and time out, but...I want something nice that she can stretch out in. I think the double will be awesome. It's 80 X 40 X 74..:)
Thank you & thanks Malibu barbie!

Sweet! Now all your pets will be spoiled rotten. :main_laugh: I've told myself I won't get a macaw until I have a place where I can put a nice big cage like that... I assume a place big enough for that will be far enough away not to get me evicted due to morning macaw wake-ups. Gorgeous animals and great set-up.
