hey guys.
Im getting a little confused. im wanting to start a hypomack/creamsicle project, but just debating my options on where to start.
Could someone tell me the difference between MS ghosts and pastels?
I have a nice Hypomack female to start from though she is 'yellower' than i would like.
I need a clutch of young from her to start my 'line' off.
Should i put her to a male SHCT baldie, as she really needs to lose some head spots. Or i have seen a male MS ghost, he is quite hypo looking but im not really sure what this is?
I aim to get a generation or 2 and then put them to a SH tang.

Thanks for the help
Mark

I'd go with the MS Ghost since you don't plan to add tang yet. Then you could make Supers which will at least carry, if not show, the hypo genes. You'll be a step up then since eveything you breed the Supers to will be Mack Snows.

By the way, Ghost is also known as dominant hypo...

Here is what I got from a UG SHTCTB X Hypo Mack Snow from JMG...

I am certain that this would be considered a "creamsicle"...

Here are the parents...

thanks for the replys guys.
Could you explain the term 'dominant hypo'?

gorgeous gecko Gregg. I have seen that pic on here before i think. Have you got any updated ones? Just to see how they develop.

That it what im after, but trying to contrast the white and areas of colour more. hence why i am thinking to hold of on the tang.

cheers
Mark
