just got home with the little guy/girl. anybody want to take a shot with the morph? geckos were on sale this week at petco, so i bought this one and a 20 gallon long to house my two little ones in.

Thanks for your help! The little guy helped itself to some mealies and a wax worm shortly after he was put in his new home.

Is Petco pretty good w/ the animals?

The PetSmart near me has cleaned up their act. Maybe folks complained
because they were pretty bad.
Now even I would consider buying from them !

the 20 gallon long was around $50 i think.

from what i could see in the store, all of the animals looked to be healthy. here is a pic of my setup (it's still not finished).

UTH on the far right side. infrared bulb on top for night viewing. 2 moist hides plus loads of hides in the middle in the logs/vegetation. i am thinking of putting some kind of plant in that empty spot in the far right corner.

Very nice set up and very nice gecko! Most likely it is tremper i dont think Petco receives rainwater from their breeders --but i could be wrong

i dont have a hide over the UTH at the moment. the geckos just come out and lay over it when they need the warmth. i am getting another coconut husk tomorrow to put over the UTH.

my new little one stays in the hollow log and comes out when i turn the infrared light on a night.

thanks for the comments on the setup. like i said earlier, it's not quite finished yet. i am going to the petshop later this afternoon to get another coconut husk to put over the UTH and some kind of artificial plant to put on the far right of the tank.

thats strange since both of my geckos are patternless. one came from petsmart while the other came from petco.
