My leo Marley laid 3 fertile eggs her first time ever laying. But now she lays a clutch of 1 one time then 2 the next. My other female Dora has been laying 2 most of the time but when she lays 1 its never been fertile!! It's their first year breeding will this change with age?
Also my first clutch of 3 finally hatched. The first was perfect, healthy and strong! The second broke my heart cause, I saw it hatch mostly then when it rested with its head out I went to bed..when I woke up it was back in the egg, I opened the egg all up and it was dead.
What do u think made it die?
My 3 hatchling was soooo small it's yoke sack was still huge when it hatched, Does that mean it did not eat as much as it needed? in that case did it hatch early? and it has a gimp arm it keeps it folded to its chest, it's like its elbow is where its shoulder is suppose to be. I've been force feeding it repti-aid and it looks a lot better!! Does anyone else have these kind of issues? Is it common to lose a few the first year??
