Mom is a SHTCT....the male you have is hard to tell with that lighting. Are you sure those are the parents? Or the father at least? Neither of them look like Mack Snows, and that's a Mack Snow hatchling. Mack Snow is a co-dom trait, so at least one of the parents has to be Mack Snow/Super Snow to get Mack Snow offspring.
Wow! My bad....that is a very white looking normal, but makes much more sense considering the parents.... Maybe just the camera flash washing out the color on the little one?
A female can lay eggs 5 weeks after she mated. The sperm is good for about 3 clutches. Eggs take an average of 45-60 days to hatch. So by doing the math the male you have isn't the father of the baby mack snow or whatever morph it is.
John, it is still very possible that the male that he has is the father.
Females can lay as soon as 2 weeks after mating (from first hand experience),
Eggs can hatch as soon as 32 days (from first hand experience).
Sperm retention varies greatly (from first hand experience).
Hatchlings are always cute. So its not a Mack snow who cares. We now know how long the egs incubated and stuff. It will be very interesting to see how it turns out. Please update us as it grows and sheds.
