where do you guys get your styro? just find it laying arounf or by it? Also when ever i cut mine out it gets rough edges, can this just be sandded.

I don't really want to intrude the thead if I am, but I usually buy mine from home depot. I use the pink insulation foam, I recently switched to it as it's easier to sculpt IMO, and it's easy to sand down unlike polystyrene, which would probably just come off in clumps (haven't tried sanding before, I just pick at it)...

I got my styrofoam at Michael's Arts and Crafts, as sheet of stiff floral foam. I cut it, the covered it all with grout to seal the edges. Other people get theirs as insulating foam at Home Depot - thicker pieces you can carve and sand. Just no fiberflass insulation - I don't know if the foam has those fibers in it, but that would be really bad for you and the gecko!
