Ok, well.. I am new to the Gecko thing, And I have a Pair of Females coming to me Prolly next week :) But, I been working really hard trying to get everything I need. LOL! :) I Am only missing the Humid Hide.. Which I was gonna ask.. Should it go on the warm side, or cool side? or does it really matter?

I feel I got some good deals on my stuff. I got the tank and stand from Craigslist.. for 20$. I Was told it was a 20gal Long.. But come to find out.. it is a 40 gal! Soo What a good deal I got! :) And there was someone posting a Lot of Reptile stuff for 30 Dollers.. Which Included like 2 Big Logs, a waterfall thing *That I can't figure out how to work it* 2 Hides, a plastic Corner thingy, and a Branch on a rock.. Lol Most of that you will see in the cage. AS well as some other stuff I Didn't need.

Kay, her dad is working on making me a Dimmer thing on my UTH..so I am awaiting that... and come to find out.. the dimmer was the wrong one.. so I have NO Idea what to get .. LOL! :)

But, thought I Would show you what i got so far :)

What you think?

My Warm side is gonna be the Right side. The one without the plastic Corner thingy. And I know it is hard to see.. But under the corner thing, there is a Hidey :)

also, the thing in the Middle, the Branch on a stone thing.. LOL How can I Clean that?! LMAO :)

Pretty nice setup! I like the driftwood - is it glued to that platform there? Just curious.

I'd add some greenery but that's just me. It seems a little....bare right now. lol

Nice, I like your setup. Im looking for a cheap 40 gal like that around where I live. Im going to put a second floor in it, that increases your room alot.

Is the suction cup rock formation one of the turtle docks by chance? Where did you get it, I like it lol. I use alot of lidded plastic containers for hides, and I try to have a dry and a moist hide at each end.

For cleaning wood I usually use alot of hot water and a scrub brush if possible. I try not to use soaps and such because woods porous, but a very small bit of bleach can be used as long as the woods given at least 24hrs for the bleach to dissipate.
