is there anything i am doing wrong here? anything i need to add? there is an undertank heater and the light is only so i can see him at night without disturbing him. The electronic stuff is a thermometer(with probe) and another thermometer (for back up.) the other probe is for the thermostat.(attached to heat mat.) the right side is the hot side, and the through-the-glass rock thing is the moist hide (though its a little small..unless leos dont mind a bit of a squash)

he also has a calcium dish..it is hidden behind that tub of bug grub

I dont think you could do a better job. Its great! you could add decorative things such as a background, fake plants ect. But those things arent needed.

Hey there! Congrats on your new leo!
Your cage looks great . . . the only thing I would recommend changing is the color bulb you are using for the overhead light. Red, black, or blue would be a better choice, since leos can't see these colors, it won't make him feel like he is on a 24 hour day cycle.
My leos love to squash themselves into small spaces. All three of my girls prefer cramming themselves into the smallest hide in the cage, rather than utilizing their bigger cave, so I wouldn't worry too much. Eventually, you may want to get him a bigger humid hide though, since he will likely use it while shedding, and they need space to turn and twist and rub their skin off.

the bulb is actually red. i think its just the flash that makes it look yellow. but thankyou.

Is it ok to have that many wires like that? If you need them all, wouldn't it be a little safer to maybe tape them to the sides? My leo seems to wanna climb on everything I put in there, so it kinda scares me to see those wires like that. And also, is that black thing under the middle and left side of the cage the heat mat?

no the mat isnt visable. it may bea lil bit of glass. the wires dont seem to boher him . he dosnt climb much. i may tape them though . cheers
