My day geckos toe pads are red, and they cannot climb any surfaces.

I went on a campout for an entire week and when I came back, I found him on the ground of his terrarium. He doesn't seem to be in any pain or discomfort, but it is causing me some worry. Has anybody else had this happen to them and if so, can I get some help?

Are there any heating elements on the sides of the cage where it could have burned itself? In any case, I feel that this gecko needs a vet visit.

No, the only way he could have burned himself is if he would have crawled to the ceiling of his terrarium which he doesn't do at all.
