My Dumb Question..?

I don't belong to a lot of different forums... just this one and a typography/design forum. My question is... I notice some people (in their signatures) put Cats 0.1.0, Leos 0.1, and so on. What am I missing? Are those ages or generations...? Just wondering what this is.

Yeah its how many of each

1 male 2 female 3 unknown 4 eggs

if its just

1.0
one male

if itys 0.1
one female..

the last two arent always given beacuse not many people have unknown or eggs
