My female is darkening in color

I jjust purchased two super hypo tangerines & the female is color is getting darker. Can someone tell me why this is happingin. Is there anyway to get her color back?

That's what i've been thinking but her eyes aren't even cloudy . When she sheds her eyes get cloudy, but thanks for the help anyway.

Have you cheket the temp.?? If they are cold the tend. to darken in colour!

Cooler temperatures and dark colored substrates can cause them to darken.... as well as after breeding.

Er... it's a gecko, right? Leos don't get cloudy eyes, like snakes. (No advice on the darkening thing, though).

If they are still young, they do sometimes change their colors.

Yeah, their eyes don't get cloudy because they don't shed eye caps like snakes do. Are you sure it isn't your imagination?

Two other possibilities to consider, both of which I deal with regularly: they may be stressed or cold. I have a SHT that insists on hanging out in the hammock on the cool side. She's getting to be a muddy brown color. Before it got so hot here I kept putting her back on the warm side. When she's there for any length of time her color lightens appreciably. I have another one who seems to be a mood gecko. When she's comfortable she's a lovely golden tang color and if stressed she gets dull grayish black.
