My female lepord gecko is massive compared to my male

Hi guys I'm a new Leo owner and I have a male and female leopard gecko however my female who is deffo a female is massive compared to my male who is also deffo a male! Do you guys know why as I've read males should always be bigger

All leopard geckos are different. Even though on average males are bigger than females, an individual male could be smaller than an individual female. It happens. Enjoy your geckos.

I agree all are different! Most of my males are in the 50-65g range and my females range from 45g-85g. As long as the males are full grown and the females are receptive they get the job done when breeding. I don't keep any of my leopard geckos together to prevent unneeded stress and/or injury. The likelihood of injuries increases a bunch when there is more than a 10% size difference.
