i woke up this morning to not one, but two little leo's! my new apartment doesnt change temperature tha much so the incubation looks like its finaly working ;)

I'm worried about one of the babies tho. He hatched, but is still connected to the egg. its fully out of the egg, but just lies there with an umbilical attatchment. I put him in a mini humid hide for now, but I am concerned.

Make sure that you keep the tub very clean and very moist. And, I would leave them alone, don't pick them up, etc.

Not sure if you should put Antibiotic ointment on it or not. I suppose, if you can put it on without hurting or stressing them out, then maybe give it a rty.

Crazy, we had the exact same thing happen this morning. I woke up to find a teeny baby laying next to it's egg, still attached. We just left it alone for a couple of hours and it detached on it's own. Hope yours did the same! How about some pics of the new ones?

My First Bell hatchling hatched a few days early, and was like this too. I picked her and the egg up carefully and placed in a deli cup with moist paper towels, and back into the incubator till the yolk was absorbed. Took one day. Then put her in the hatchling rack.

He detached himself on his own, but he left a lot of goo behind in the egg. This normal?
