No, I don't have pictures yet, but maybe this weekend. I've recently gotten interested in fat tail geckos and want to try breeding a pair. I will be getting a female fat tail normal from a rescue society in NJ in May (that's the earliest I can get down there; I don't want to deal with shipping) and had it in mind to get a male at some point. Today I went to "visit" the geckos at one of the Petco's on my route, one that I feel relatively comfortable with. The salesman there (who owns geckos and breeds snakes and seems quite knowledgeable) showed me their fat tail and said it's been there since before he came to work there 8 months ago. Since it had been there so long and has a regrown tail, I was able to talk them into giving me a 20% discount. He's normal colored with a stripe down his back. I kept hearing how docile fa tails are in comparison to leos, but I didn't believe it till I actually held one. Right now "Cocoa" is on ceramic tile exploring his new home. Eventually, after I do some cage swapping around, I'm going to set up a planted tank for him. Has anyone ever done that with a fat tail?

Here is a picture of my new fat tail who I originally named "Cocoa". I just decided to change his name to "Copper" because the other one reminded me too much of Coco the clown and he's much more dignified than that. So far he's been a pleasure. He lets me hold him but occasionally hisses at me if he wants me to back off. He seems to be eating his crickets and found the bathroom corner. I'm planning a planted viv for him with grassy dracaena and some succulents.

... I know what a tail regenerated.
I think the cage, paper are dirty (fungi, dead crickets ).... Couch full of hair !
All this does nothing good on the pictures, that's all!

You shouldn't criticize someone else's pictures. I don't see you posting pictures and if you did no one would be saying the things you say. Just think about how u might feel. Thats just my opinion.(By the way the cricket doesn't look dead.) Nice fatty Aliza!

No big deal. The cricket is alive. The chair is where my white cat sits (it's kind of funny how the white cat sits on the black stuff and the black cat sits on the white stuff) and, yes, the paper towel in the humid hide does need to be changed.
