First I want to say thank you to, Adam brough, who helped and walked me through my first gecko! He is a great guy to work with that is compassionate about what he does. I have researched for about one year before buying a gecko and this is the results. I think she has the sweetest ruby eyes! couldn't be happier! After puting her into her cage for the first time, she just stared at the glass for a good 10 minutes. I, then, left the room and came back to her climbing the wall--I could not believe it! She explored every nook and square inch of that place. However, today, she is just sleeping in her cave. I hope she is comfy and fine. It just could be me being paranoid. :main_robin: I hope you enjoy the pictures. Comments are welcomed!

Here are some more pics.

Is that light ok to have on at night? It's on a soft dim for me as I'm on the computer at night. Also, should I cover the front of the tank at night when I watch TV? Thanks!

Awww.... see I told you you wouldn't be disappointed with Adam (or his leos). He's a great guy :main_thumbsup: VERY helpful, always there for ya even after the sale. The leo looks great... I wouldn't expect any less from him tho. Congrats. I'm so glad you got your new gecko safe and sound and healthy.

I wouldn't worry too much about the not exploring so much thing. The leo that I got from him did the same thing. Explored like crazy the first day, then was mellow and calm the rest of the week. I took it as he was comfortable and happy since he ate for me in like 2 days. I also don't think I would worry too much about the ambient lighting outside of her tank. The tv or computer monitor really shouldn't bother him, but if you think it is I don't see a harm in covering his tank a little BUT on the opposite side of that you want her to adapt to the goings on in her new environment.

Who are the parents of your leo? Mine were... Daddy: Brighton, momma: (picture says) Mama Bell.

I love her! The tank setup is awesome. I'm sure she was just tired from travel. They are nocturnal so don't expect too much during the day.

Pretty girl!! :main_thumbsup: Yes, it's okay to leave on the blue night light at night; that's what it's for. I have mine on, too. I let my geckos watch TV with me -- no, really, I caught three of them glued to their glass when I watched BONES at night :main_laugh: That light/action won't bother them.

I have that rock wall background, too. I think it's great. And I can see your gecko has distributed her calcium powder all over her three-in-one cave already!! Heehee. You'll never get it to look clean. I gave up :D

Oh, thank you all for the warm comments! Yup I drive a celica--even in the dead of winter here in Minnesota! I'm not sure who the parents are, but Adam said he was going to send me pics. Her dad was a giant, so she has the gene. She weighs about 49 grams. I'm hoping to feed her for the first time tomorrow-- can't wait!!!!!!! Is that calcium controllable? It's normal calcium, not d3. I'm a proud new daddy!!

Congratulations shes quite the looker, I can certainly see why you took her.

What a doll, and really cool new home. She looks happy climbing and will no doubt want to roam.

Best wishes with her :main_laugh:;):D:main_yes:
