That spot is normal. A few weeks ago I sold a female very close looking to that. Which is the male? Anyway that again was a great pick up. Before you know it you won't want your raptors solid orange but yellow with crazy spots!

All in due time... :) First I want to get some raptor hatchlings before I spread out. The 2 males are in the center of each row (just random...I numbered the tubs as I pulled the Leo's out of the cups).

I sent an email to Kyle @ Pacific Gecko to ask about a discrepency. Kyle did an awesome job resolving the issue!!! Shipped on time, delivered on time, and did a great job resolving an issue! A+.

Nice new additions. Just for future posts, please make sure to post things like this in the business inquiry and feedback section. Thank you! They all look nice.

I just realized that I didn't clearly answer your question because the tub #'s aren't visible in that pic..lol The 2 males are g2 (raptor) and g5 (raptor).

UPDATE:

G3 (her name is now Ruby) and G6 (Slinky) are taking the lead by far. 39g and 36.5g, respectively. :D They had the biggest growth spurt.

In third place is G1 (haven't firmly decided on name) at 35.4g and in fourth place is G4 (Bubble Buddy...censored named for her regen-tail).

And in fifth and sixth place are the males, G2 and G5 (unnamed because they are not sociable enough for me to pick names) at 30.8g and 33g, respectively.

------------------------------

By keeping up with the detailed growth weights, I see the 2 males are gaining weight at a significantly lower rate. I guess that is just normal because females naturally need the added weight/nutrients as they approach sexual maturity. :D

I broke the quarantine rule and put Ruby and Slinky (G3 and G6, females) in a 20gal Long together just a couple days ago. Everyone is eating and defecating normally, so I made a big assumption that they came from a healthy environment.

The other 4 are still in separate tubs on the rack. I have another 20 Long that G1 and Bubble-Buddy (G4) (females) will be in after quarantine. :D Then I will make a choice to: a) give each male a 10g tank, or b) give each male a 28qt tub on the rack.

I can't upload a pic because my wife borrowed my SD card-reader, but I just had to post an update:

Ruby and Slinky (g3 & g6) slowed in their weight gaining. I thought it was because they moved in together, but tonight I took a closer look.... It is my strong opinion that they are both OVULATING!!! AWESOOOOMMMEEE....except they just passed the 40g mark this week :( I can clearly see "lumps" on their sides when they are walking....it looks like a baby's foot pushing from the inside of a mommy's belly. It's neat. :)

But now I guess we are doomed to this limited appetite and slow weight gain. :(

Here are some pics of Ruby, g3. Of course, the contrast in the shades of white will never show up very well on a computer screen, but I swear I see more "balls of white" than usual.

Here's the only pic of Slinky, g6, that didn't turn out blurry. Slinky's white masses aren't as distinct as Ruby's, but there seems to be more and larger masses.

i think i see the ovule (term?) in the bottom picture!

I don't even know what an "ovule" (or any similar word) is...lol I guess I better google it. :)

EDIT: Just googled...so the "ovule" is the white blob that will turn into an egg. :D So Ruby, g3, is ovulating? And is Slinky, g6, ovulating? :D

to me, Ruby does appear to be ovulating, but im not so sure about slinky... maybe in a week (if she is ovulating now) they will appear bigger, and it will be easier to tell :)

^^^During G1's photoshoot, I looked up and saw we had a stalker. If you have seen the videos I posted of Smoke (male Blizzard in the blue circle), you will understand why I don't know if he was jealous or just staring at a pretty girl. :D
