try using live mealworms and crickets, and if it is an adult they dont have to eat everyday, maybe only 2-3 times a week.l

Im sure you will get VERY reliable responses if you tell us your geckos...

*sex----(If its a reproducing female,it's common for weird feeding patterns)
*age----(Very young geckos dont always eat as much as you would expect)
*weight
*temperature its kept at--(temp effects feeding patterns)

try putting a bunch of mealworms in a dish and tilting the dish in fornt of her (if there is 50 mealworms moving around in a small area, and all of themm moving a lot, if she takes a bit she'll get like 3)

Bowl of mealworms in the cage. Remove all moving crickets or grasshoppers, give her enough fresh water and than leave her alone for a few days. Don't stress the animal out so she'll stop eating all together. Remember it's a coldblooded animal and therfore doesn't have to eat every day (like warmblooded animals have to). And 5 days is not that long.... Just give her some rest....

You have an adult gecko. She only needs to eat 2-3 medium to large meals a week. So don't offer food every day, or else it will seem like she's not eating much. Offer food ever 3-4 days. It may take her some time to adjust to that pattern but she will come around. You can also bump the temps up to 90-92 to help stimulate her eating habits.
