My gecko is getting fatter

But has been eating less, what does this mean?

and he/she is definately not bloated, looks very healthy. It just seems like over the past 5 months hes been fed less, but has maintained his size or even gotten bigger.

How old is your gecko? Male or female? How much do you feed him/her?

I'm thinking about 1 year old.

I think female...not sure..we had a debate about it on a thread here. No one seems to know.

Don't get the wrong idea, she(we'll just say she) is definately healthy. Well, at least I think so. Super active, big fat tail. I've seen her drink before, has a nice 20 gallon long tank. Housed by herself, humid hide, warm hide, and another hide. And a UTH.

When I first got her she ate around 25 large mealworms a day. Now shes at around 10.

Well leopard geckos usually eat less when they grow older. Maybe thats the case

Well, she can't be more than 1.5 years old.

Iggy my avatar is only about A year and 3 months old. She only eats I say 3 crickets and 5 mealworms every other day?

My Tiamat only eats one or two supers every other day and has gained three grams since I first started weighing her despite this. Must be a gecko thing.
