My geckos are big!

I never knew because they are my first geckos and I have nothing to compare to.

I briefly toyed with the idea of breeding them, but decided against it. Mainly because they are pet store geckos and I have no clue what was in their backgrounds. In the meantime, I ordered a scale on ebay. It arrived today so I weighed my geckos.

Clementine is about 9 months old, not overweight in the slightest, and 73 grams.

Echo is just over a year, not a small dude, but I don't think grossly obese either. He is 95 grams.

Your scale is probably broken or needs recalibration. Try weighing a paper clip. It should be about one gram.

I tested it with coins, spot on every time.

A dollar is almost exactly one gram, good way to test scale.

and a nickel is 5 grams, I've done that bit, my scale is accurate
