Here are some pics I took of my 9yr old Pepper meeting her new 9 month old roomate, Sierra....lol....

They are doin good so far...Pepper nipped her tail a couple times but now they are in the tank resting in the rock cave together so...so far so good :main_thumbsup:

Awwww they are both very beautiful, I REALLY like them both!

Just be sure to watch them carefully, if they keep nipping at eachother, they may need to be seperated :main_yes:

Thanx...and yea i no...last night i put the divider in just cuz if they got into somethin while I was sleepin i wldnt hear it...but they've been together all day and now my older one, Pepper, is letting Sierra in her rock rave thing...lol...so far so good

Ug...last night i had to go out and buy a lil coconut hide thing cuz pepper was bein a bully...i felt so bad...I mean sierra is small compared to pepper...and my mom wont let me use the extra 20gal i have sitting in the garage...erg

Why won't she let you use the cage that's in the garage if noone else is using it? What a bummer, I hope that you can find a way to seperate them soon

Well they are doin better...Peppers not like attackin her...just a tiny lil nip every once in a while...but its gotten a lot better i mean ive only had her for 2 days so they still need time to adjust and everythin...but just incase i did buy a divider for the tank...

and my mom is just a phyco idiot...she doesnt want anymore tanks in my room...ITS MY ROOM!!! lol...but idk...

Maybe you should put a clear divider in for 2 - 3 weeks so they can get each others sent and when you re-introduce them maybe they won't fight. I would put the divider in before a tail loss, or before the younger gecko tryes to defend it's self.

They are both beautiful geckos!

If you already have the divider-I would like to suggest that you leave it in place as tail nipping and biting are not the only things that can cause the younger Leo stress

If you see that the smaller girl is hiding a lot and not eating then you will have to separate them

Some times a divider works-if it meets tight at both the screen top and the bottom and the sides

If it doesn't-the little one can wander over to the other side

That does not always mean that she wants to be with her tank mate-she is just prowling around

Are they in a 20 gallon now with the divider making it into two 10 gal. areas?
