So water dish and humid are there, even though I can't see them. Many people are advocating not leaving any kind of calcium in any gecko's cage but I have found this season that a few of my hatchlings were starting to develop MBD without it, so now they have bottle caps of calcium without D3. Both early cases of MBD have resolved.

Water is a petri dish in the middle. The hide on the right has moist moss in it. Heat pad on left side. I have never been a HUGE fan of temp and humid gauges unless it was a particularly touchy species. I am open to All suggestions.

As long as the heat pad is being regulated somehow? (don't see a thermostat on there)

I also agree with the dish of pure calcium, as Aliza isn't the only one who has mentioned calcium deficiency issues with hatchlings/juveniles only receiving dusted food.

I have my heat pad regulated at 85 degrees and I ran out and got calcium powder after I read Aliza's post. I am still learning all the health issues Leopard Geckos can encounter and or are prone to.

Sounds good. :) Most people recommend 88 - 92 F as the floor surface temperature on the warm side to aid digestion, so you may find that you need to bump up the heat pad a bit for best feeding/activity.

Babies are going to need pretty high humidity for the first week or two. I have had teachers use aquariums successfully with lidded 6 qt containers inside them for the babies during this time. I think the open top might cause too much humidity to escape and make it difficult to keep them humidity up.

Its super hard to see in that photo but 3/4ths of the screen is covered in grey duct tape. It should allow sufficient air flow while keeping the humidity at a healthy level.

Hatchlings are pretty frightful things, so maybe a plant or something in the middle so it feels hidden while it goes between the warm and the humid hide, as it's just so open there. :)
