What's more important to you? An eye-pleasing tank, or the health and prosperity of your new lizard?

We're not being mad, I commend you for getting on these forums and being willing to learn. We're all here to help and learn from one another.

6800 South 70th Street, Lincoln, NE 68516 <----- that's the address for your closest Home Depot. Go buy a couple 12"X12" natural stone slates for 1.97 each. Lay paper towels down around the perimeter of your tank and then lay the tiles on top so that the paper towel covers the area the slates didn't.

If you cannot access tile, just use paper towel. That's a pretty common household object and necessity, right? It's cheap, easy-to-clean, and 100% impaction-free!

oh and do i really need a moist hide or not cause im pretty sure in pakistan its not very humid

Actually, in the wild, rocks and hiding shelters available to leopard geckos are pretty humid when compared to the usually pretty dry (i would think, never been to pakistan) environment of Pakistan. Small crevices have thermal dynamics in the wild that make them act as condensational structures, meaning that they actually absorb moisture and humidity.

A humid hide isn't mandatory in captivity, but it is highly recommended for a shedding-aid (humidity works very well at getting bothersome stuck shed skin off)

so i dont need a humid hide until they start shedding and then it would be a good idea to put one in there with the leo

You could do that, but I would just leave it in there at all times. My geckos actually enjoy hanging in their humid hides the majority of the day anyways, as well as using it for shedding, so I just leave it in there at all times. I occasionally see them drink from their humid hides, licking the misted droplets of water I spray in there and licking the damp material.

You can easily make a humid hide with a Tupperware container. Cut a hole in the top and fill it with a couple damp sheets of paper towel. Replace the paper towel every week or so, and dampen it when it looks like it's loosing moisture and becoming dry.
