About a month ago I received a juvenile leo for my birthday. My bf had gotten her from ***** and bought all the correct supplies such as the UTH, lamp, 10 gal, hides, and so on. She was healthy upon bringing her home, though I've never seen her eat. I put a few crickets in several times a week and give her about a day to gobble them up and remove uneaten ones. She is currently on linoleum and has a UTH supplemented by a day bulb. The warm side is about 90 and the cool is about 83. She spends most of her day on the warm side and rarely leaves her paper towel tubing. Over the past month she has lost a lot of weight. I sent a fecal to be done two days ago and the results came up Neg for any type of parasite. They just said she was malnourished. I offer her crickets every few days and provide a dish with mealies and waxies. I have not seen her eat and her poo's worry me. Her poo has been very unusual and yesterday she left a completely just wet pile. I would figure she would have had worms but the vet says that is not the case. should i get a second opinion?
Please help. I don't want to force feed because i know the amount of stress it puts on her and I'm hoping it's a last resort.
Thanks for all who may help

Has she ever eaten anything you have given her since she came home? A month is a long time to not eat anything.
You may have to give her repi-aide, its a powder supplement you mix with liquid and feed it with a vial. I had to do that with my sparky for about a week. YOu can get it at the pet store or from the vet.... Alot of times when they come to a new home they can get stressed and it takes a while to return to normal eating. Make sure your surface isnt too warm, over the UTH, my tile normally reads about 90 on the ground. Good luck.

Is the UTH on a thermostat? If I use a tank with them I usually dont put them on a tstat but add layers of papertowels until the hot side is at right temp. Cool side I leave as ambiant which ranges from 74-84.
