My leo barely go in the hot side

One of my leo spend all the "day" time in the wet-room in the cold. It's in a 10 Gal and the hot side is at a constant 92 degres. The second I close the light and the heat pad she gonna start walking around all night. When I grab her and put her in the front of it's cave in the hot side she gonna enter it and stay there all the rest of the day. When I bought her last month she didn't had a moist hide and was skinny so now she's in a heavy daily eating diet. So I'm concerned that she could have trouble digesting. Do I let her do what she want?

If she's eating, gaining weight an pooping she probably isn't having digestion problems.

I can think of 2 reasons she is not going in her hide on the hot side:

--it's too hot in the hide (the hide can hold heat in). If you haven't done so already, put a temperature probe inside the hide and check

--she really loves the humid hide. In that case, see if you can put the humid hide on the hot side.

I agree with acpart, but want to add to keep an eye out for mold and the humid hide drying out faster being on the warm side. Sorry if you already know this, but it's easy to overlook the simplest things.

humid hide belongs on the hot side. Without the heat warming it up then its not going to be very humid.
With a humid hide you should check to make sure its wet most of the time. Either spray it everyday or everyother day.
