My Leo bit me.... In the eye!

So little Floyd was hangin' out with me last night, doing his thing where ventures wayyy down the couch and then comes runnin' back to my hand only to take off on another mini adventure down to the other end of the couch.

After he had enough of exploring the couch, he decided he wanted to explore my face since my head was resting on its side. So up he climbs onto my neck and then plops himself down on my cheek. After a minute, I blinked and immediately felt the wrath of a 3 month old savage leopard Gecko lunging at my eyelid! He must have thought that the blinking action of my eyelash looked a lot like the movement of a cricket. Boy is he quick. Luckily it didn't hurt at all, and since I know it was a mistake, we remain friends.

I couldn't stop laughing afterwards. :main_laugh:

Jut thought I'd share.

This has nothing to do with geckos, but it reminds me of when we first got our cat .. My b/f was on the couch wearng a wife beater and it was all stretched out from him rolling around in it... so his nipple popped out of his shirt on the side and my cat tilted his head looking at this protruding thing... lunged for him and bit it!!! It was the funniest thing I have ever seen!!! You would die of laughter if you were there and saw it happen I swear :main_yes:

Who knew??? Sorry, but I am laughing. Glad it didn't hurt.

Certainly not at the idea of a boa or tarantula biting anyone's face though.

OH!! David! OWW!
I've been bit by boas. I couldn't IMAGINE how bad that must have been!

The savage baby gecko story is too cute, though. Glad you didn't get hurt.
