My leo layed eggs

Hello, I'm new to this whole "Breeding" of leopard geckos and it wasn't my intention for this to happen. Due to my ignorance I kept my male and female together since they where hatchlings and I came home yesterday afternoon to find two eggs. When I found them, they where completely try and flat, I have a true fire skink, so I moistened up a portion of an extra brick of sterilized reptile soil and put them in there, they're nice and plump this morning even if they have a few small dents but they're very squishy. The temperature I am keeping them at is 80 degrees.
I'm not going to throw them away cause I don't know if they're fertile or infertile so I'm giving it a few days.

But could the squishy shells be a sign of infertility?
Is there anything else I should do for them?

Squishy shells can be a sign of infertility or that the eggs are an environment that's a bit too humid. Using a 1:.8 ratio of substrate to water is a good ratio. Too much more than that and they can be too moist and can go bad even if they are fertile.

I usually keep eggs that are questionable in their own container for a week or two and if they start to mold or smell they get thrown away. It's not 100% accurate but you can also often tell a bad egg by candling it. Bad ones tend to have a more yellow appearance and no red "bulls eye" in them.

Your female will lay more. I would seperate them so they stop breeding and offer her a lay box.
Are you sure you want a dozen babies? Theyre a lot of work, should be housed indivdually and hard to find homes for...
You can always place the eggs in the freezer and then throw them out if you decide its too much work

I am with Katie on this. I think it would be in your best interest just to freeze the eggs and throw them away. Also I would separate the male and female.
