When I give it to him it doesn't really seem like he's getting anything! Like...
most of the Baytril is still in the squirty-thing even after I shoot it into his mouth.
Maybe a drop or two gets out of the squirter... thing(lol I haven't a clue as to
what they're called), I am worried he's not getting what he's supposed to.

It's called a syringe or a dropper. Is it one the vet gave you? What is your leo on Baytril for? If you're worried he isn't getting the correct dose because it's all staying int eh syringe then maybe take just a little bit more into the syringe to compensate for what's being left in the syringe, but honestly the dose you mentioned really doesn't come out to more than a drop or 2 anyway. This honestly should be a question for your vet if it is worrying you that much.

Vet was closed so I asked here.

Does your vet leave an emergency back up number to call? or is there an emergency after hours vet around your area? It could be something to run past them too but I don't think waiting until morning to call your vet for conformation on how to proceed with this is gonna hurt your leo if his dose is low for a dose or 2.

Again tho, can I ask why your leo is on Baytril?

Nope, she just gave me a paper with the number (which I called) and the Baytril.

&, sorry, I didn't think it mattered to be mentioned/told here. He had an impacted Hemipenal Bulge.

Why? :)

an impacted hemipenal bulge?... whu? ... how can the hemipenal bulge be impacted?

That's what she said. The two bulges at the base of his tail were swollen and massiivvee, she said she had to squeeze out the impaction. She did it in front of me and this dark yellowy hard thing came out.

Maybe the dropper you are using is too big so most of the medicine is stuck in it? Since you have an appointment soon, I would as there. Hope your leopard gecko gets better soon!

I know exactly what you mean...with such a small dose of medication, a lot of the time, a good amount of the meds will stay in the "hub" (tip) of the syringe when it's given. Here's what I do, and what I tell my clients to do.

Draw up the amount of medication you need in the syringe, then draw up some air in the syringe as well. Keeping the air and the meds in the syringe, hold it with the hub facing downwards and flick the syringe with your finger so that all the meds are down near the hub. Then give the meds. The force of air from the syringe while giving the meds should get much more of the medication actually into the animal.
