beautiful gecko but please take him off the wood chips loose subtrate is bad for leos it can cause impaction. Use carpet tile or paper tiles,please.

Try paper towls or news paper works very well also.

Just to add in, Slate tile is a popular choice aswell. Do you have a UTH, thermometer. Proper suppliments(Calcium, D3, vitamins) and all the appropriate hides?

how to use paper towls ? put at the floor?

Just lay them on the floor of the tank. Measure the temps to make sure they papper towel layer is thick/thin enough.

..? You dont need a light for leos, you need an undertank heating pad, Lights arent really of much use for heating them up.

The heating pad goes on the underside of the tank. It needs to cover 1/3 of the bottom.

The heating pad goes UNDER side of the glass bottom. Flip the tank over, put it on and then flip it back over.

The reason woodchips are bad is because they cause impaction. Simply put, you dont want impaction, AT ALL. Just make sure all the stuff you feed stays inside that bowl. But change the woodchips ASAP

okok thx bro , today i will change to carpet , how about using carpet when it Defecate？how to clean it ? my leaopard gecko away stay inside the cave when wanna eat just move out only!!

Take it out, shake it off into the trash and then spray it down with hot water until clean, wring it out and let it dry real quick.
