is that a uv bulb as leo's don't need uv and as for the ceramic bulb i would not use that ether i would use a heat mat as they get there heat from below and not above sorry

I like that setup, what are the dimensions? I built similar for my Beardies but i have yet to decide how to do it for my Leo's cause of the whole heat from underneath(sp) thing.... but i am sure i could figure somthing out...but very nice set up and aweseom Leo

the dimensions are 55cm x 35cm x 35cm.

I know that leos don't need UVB lamp, but since I have my first leo I used it and with good results (color of the skin, feed, etc)

Ceramic heat emmiters are fine as long as you make sure it doesn't get to hot. As for the light bulbs, they don't need them but you can use them if you want. I use accent lights in my 10 gallon because they look nice. It's a great setup BTW. :)

i would give it a bigger hiding spot as you know they are nocturnal and they should rarely or never come out of there hiding spot in the day

Ceramic heaters are wonderful for heating the air above them,
but not much for keeping the floor the right temp.

They are costly to run, and they are inefficient.

Your much better off using a UTH.
