Nice looking gecko! Half of his tail looks different; did it break off and regrow?

Yeah. I bought him that way, I never touch my Gecko's on the Tail. Right now my Female Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail is missing a tail too. It did re- grow but i bought her the same way i bought him.
