i have a male being housed with 2 females and he wont breed with them. It might just be that i havent given them enough time too or they have already bread and the eggs are forming.

how long do eggs usually take to form and be laid by the females???

Check their bellies and look for round white spots (they are called follicles). If you see them, that means they are ovulating. If they are not ovulating, they usually don't want to even consider breeding... but you said the problem was with your male? Does he not have any interest in the females at all?

I am not trying to be mean or discourage you in any way, but your problem is your answer " I don't know".

You should research a bit more to find out how to spot an ovulating female first. Some of my male won't attempt breeding until they are ovulating, while most males will attempt breeding of any female.

Then he may be like a few of my males who only are interested when they are ovulating. Females WON'T let a male breed unless ovulating, so if the female isn't, that's the first step to finding your issue.
