Just make sure to not handle him unless you absolutely have to, it's best to not handle them for a week to let them settle, too much handling can cause a lot of stress and can even cause a tail drop in some cases. The screaming is him in distress.

Not to be an alarmist but for a skinny hatchling 2-3 days without eating or being interested in food would worry me a lot. Most of mine were ravenous the day I received them after being jostled around in a tupperware for 15+ hours shipped 2500 miles across the country or spending 6+ hours in a tupperware being dragged to a reptile show and home with me.

If he's pooping I think the mineral oil probably isn't necessary but I would be on top of a thorough fecal exam and possibly a vet visit ASAP. The longer he isn't eating the weaker he gets and the worse the stress of a visit will be on him. How did you check his stool? I'm not sure but I think it may have to be sent to a lab to find something like crypto. What I've found on the internet says it may need to be dyed with acids or looked at using a special fluorescent lights to see the crypto parasite. I don't think the normal kind of fecal float we did on dogs and cats when I was a vet tech would catch most reptile parasites. Maybe someone with more knowledge of how crypto can be found can comment?

Hes eating now.. there were 3 crickets in there this morning & they're all gone and i have a screen on the tank so they cant get out. and like 3 or 4 mealworms are gone...
