My new acquisition...

Hey all,

I finally got my first leo! I'm still looking for a tang jungle/stripe, but I found this cutie at the ___co near me and decided to grab it. I know that I'm taking a chance by buying from a petstore, but the other babies in the cage seemed healthy. We'll see what happens. It's eating like a horse right now and seems very active and curious about its surroundings.
Any thoughts on morph ID? I'm thinking he/she/it is a tangerine carrottail. It looks tang in person and has already got quite a bit of orange on its tail.

I would say its a hypo. I wouldn't give it carrot tail status with the slight orange that its showing. it may turn into a super hypo though. Cool find at the pet shop.

What a cutie! I'm sure it'll get more carrot in it's tail as it gets bigger so I'm guessing HCT or HTCT.

I've been eyeing a SHTCTB @ the PetCo here and think I'm going to go grab it tomorrow, it's stunning for a pet store animal. Hopefully it's still there. I think the girlfriend will like it.

By the way, does anyone know where Petco or Petsmart stocks from? Because they are corporate stores I would guess that they have big suppliers somewhere, but I don't know. :main_huh: Any light shed would be much appreciated.

I know that there are quite a few people with detailed information on that; I'm just not one of them

Nice pet store find! I bought a couple babies from a pet store almost exactly a year ago, and one of them turned into a SHTCT...the only issue is she doesn't eat much, even though her tail is plump and her body is nice she only weighs about 40 grams. She's also a very dark orange, but still SHTCT. I'll try to hook up a pic soon.

No I'm going to columbus state for firefighter/paramedic and getting my associates degree in fire science.

My friend graduated from there and my girlfriend wants to go there too.
