i think he is a super mac snow- how does that rate? i semi rescued him from a realy aweful petstore ( nameing him granit i think, because he survived the month it took to get him and just his beautiful color and eyes)
i fell in love, of course, and had to have him ( an aniversary present from my hubby) and he is so so sweet! anyway, here are two pics, i do not want to stress him out for a while until hes settled in, then i will do a photo shoot :)
so here is Granit ( trying the name on for size...)

Naw, that's a Blizzard. The Mack Super Snows are white with lots of black spots. They look like this.

Nice big fat one you got there! Have fun with him :main_yes:

fyi, the reasons for saying semi rescue, is that he endured very well- he seems very healthy and alert, took him strait to a breeder friend of mine to have him checked out- i knew for a fact he was impacted due to his slight lithargic state at the store and being stored on sand ( i say stored because in the month that i checked in on him, they never ONCE changed it out, nore cleaned out the poop) and as soon as he got going in his new home he let out a whopper of a poop, almost all of it sand and undigested cricket- how he passed that, i have no idea- it deffinitly explains the slight swolleness of his vent area! ( litteraly, the poop was as large around as the largest part of his tale and half as long) that also makes sense why the shop guy said he ate voraciously, since he is probly getting little nutrition because 1, poor heating, 2, too much sand and his body must be trying to pass it quickly- all speculation, but hey, poop speaks @@
sorry, small rant :p

ok, after careful research, playing with names....Wolf ...just his behaviour ( he prowled the tank, every single spot over and over, declared his dominancy by riseing to the top of certain places of his tank and almost puffing up, toppled over a few things ( already) but all of it calmly ( not stressed or unhappy), but like a dog/wolf would- not to mention this boy has puppy eyes and he and i just had a nice quite stare :) and it just seems to fit him ( yes, ive been watching him for the last few hours XD ) now lets hope it sticks! ( i tend to change my mind a hundred times, but whatever FEELS right always stays ( with tweaks of course) within a few days
