My new TOY!

Well has some of you know I recently had to sell my truck. Mainly because of all of the medical exspenses we have had this last year. It really bummed me out to it go, and I just knew I would get stuck with something I really didn't want. Last week I had a chance to go to a car auction with my father inlaw. I was really hoping we could find a Jeep (nothing new but something to get me around and that I could use to still be able to go herping and such). Well first thing we notice when we got there was only one Jeep was there to be auctioned and it was a Liberty (not my first choice and starting bid was already getting close to my limit). Well after spending half the day being more depressed then before we got there this little gem came across the bidding block. Best part was nobody was bidding on it. Seems the check engine light was on and was scaring off the bidders. Anyway I got it pretty cheap and the "check engine" light ended up just being an Oxygen Censor ($30). Looks like the Herping trips on back on!:main_thumbsup:

West Texas is still a few hours away, but should be a great drive. I was happy it was green too. I just need to do a few things to it. Tint the widows and things like that. Best thing it's 4X4 so I won't have to stick to the roads.

I'm SO jealous! We have a Jeep Wrangler but the Discovery has always been my dream SUV (aside from the Defenders which are outrageously expensive).

You know, has I was looking for something else car wise a Land Rover never enter my train of thought because I thought they would be to much $$$$. But I got lucky and got this one pretty cheap. After the first of the year I plan doing some upgrades so it should be alot of fun.
