Lately i've been wanting a new Gecko to add to my home and had been looking preferably for an adult female to mate with with my Adult Male Normal Leo. I was very fortunate enough to find and pick up this beautiful SHTCTB Leo for a great price from a awesome member from this board. She goes by the name Chachasushi. Thanks again Rachel! I absolutely love her. (The Gecko that is. lol)
Well, after 2 days of having her (7-23-09)........I am sitting on my couch holding her and decided to put her back into the tank. I go sit back down and not even 2 mins later she goes right up to my Male. Her tail went straight up in the air and then all of a sudden he bites on to her and wouldn't let go. At first i panicked and thought they were fighting until I realized what was really going on. Needless to say....she didn't seem to be in any pain. lol. He then did a barrel roll type move and then did their thing and went on about their business. I later looked to see if she was ovulating to find out that she IS!
This is my first time breeding but with the help of this forum and Rachel (chachasushi) i'm positive everything will be ok. I've already gained quite a bit of knowledge just from researching before they did the deed but of course any tips, hints, or advice would be much appreciated. I will be ordering a HovaBator this week also. I am very excited and am counting down the days.
Enjoy! I will keep you all posted on the progress! :main_thumbsup:
