Lately i've been wanting a new Gecko to add to my home and had been looking preferably for an adult female to mate with with my Adult Male Normal Leo. I was very fortunate enough to find and pick up this beautiful SHTCTB Leo for a great price from a awesome member from this board. She goes by the name Chachasushi. Thanks again Rachel! I absolutely love her. :D (The Gecko that is. lol)

Well, after 2 days of having her (7-23-09)........I am sitting on my couch holding her and decided to put her back into the tank. I go sit back down and not even 2 mins later she goes right up to my Male. Her tail went straight up in the air and then all of a sudden he bites on to her and wouldn't let go. At first i panicked and thought they were fighting until I realized what was really going on. Needless to say....she didn't seem to be in any pain. lol. He then did a barrel roll type move and then did their thing and went on about their business. I later looked to see if she was ovulating to find out that she IS!

This is my first time breeding but with the help of this forum and Rachel (chachasushi) i'm positive everything will be ok. I've already gained quite a bit of knowledge just from researching before they did the deed but of course any tips, hints, or advice would be much appreciated. I will be ordering a HovaBator this week also. I am very excited and am counting down the days.
Enjoy! I will keep you all posted on the progress! :main_thumbsup:

Cool (& kinda funny) that you caught them doing the nasty, lol :main_laugh: Piper is very pretty, I just bought a SHTCT. What substrate do you have them on?

Get all your other supplies ready now, because you don't want to be caught off guard when those eggs are laid. It should be about a month, but may happen sooner than you expect.

Thanks everyone! I have already purchased some Perlite and Tupperware dish for her to lay her eggs in. I plan to order my HovaBator tommorrow. Does anyone know how long it will usually take to arrive after purchase?

Hey!
I LOVE those pics! I've caught my geckos in the act, but could never get a good angle for taking pics. I felt like such a voyeur spying on them, camera in hand. LOL
I am so glad you're enjoying your new addition and I'm thrilled that she's found the male of her dreams in your collection. I'm so excited about the future babies!! :)

LoL @ Gecko Porn. That's the first thing i said when i saw it happening. I was like... "Should I?.. *snap*. lol. I can't wait for her to lay the eggs and for them to hatch. They will be some gorgeous lil Leos. I know I won't be able to part with them so i will problem hold on to the first ones. :D My Incubator has been ordered and should be here Wednesday of next week. I have already purchased Perlite for the incubator and will set it up as soon as i get it. I also changed the substrate in her laybox to Sphagnum Peat moss. I did have the petstore green moss (whatever you call it) in there but she didn't seem to like it much and refused to go in it. Ever since i've changed the substrate she's been laying in it. Thanks for all the comments and wish me luck. I'll keep you all posted with the progress.
