My normal has green in it

Genetically speaking, this juvenile is just a "normal" with a bit of tang influence. The mother was normal, the father was tang. That said, there is an unmistakable hint of green in the banding.

My question, I guess, is whether or not this community thinks it might be worth it for me to keep this one around so I can breed it to another "normal" with similar green spotting. (The alternative being just selling it as another normal). Thanks in advance for your input.

I believe you should try it, it will take a couple of generations of line breeding to get the desired look but yes its possible to create all it needs is time.

As mentioned, it'll take several generations to increase that green. It may actually fade as the gecko geckos older.

It's very normal for tangs to have a tint of green as they transition from a hatchling to adult. You'll have to wait till he's full grown to decide if the green is worth trying to breed.

Dont expect that green to last. I've seen many hatchling tangerines with green on them, particularly on the head, that fades with age
